The installer must be run manually on at least one machine. Unfortunately, at this time, there is no simple, one-step, silent installer for UE4.
A common question that arises is how these institutions should properly distribute the Unreal Engine to their school computers without exposing the academic account used to access UE4. With the announcement of special licensing terms for Unreal Engine 4 for Academic Institutions, there have been a large number of universities, trade schools, and colleges who have begun offering this to their students and faculties.
